THE LION KING JR!

Disney's The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world, and now you have the opportunity to produce this one-of-a-kind musical in your community. Bring the African savanna to life on your stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.

Escambia County students ages 6-18 will participate in our Summer Camp at Dixon School of Arts & Sciences during the month of June. Students will have classes in Acting, Dance, Music and Art that will culminate in a production of The Lion King Jr on June 27th, 28th & 29th.

We strive to nurture a love of the performing arts and to provide learning and performance opportunities for our students. Dixon After Hours (DAH) is an after-school performing arts program that offers dance, vocal, and acting training along with a chance to participate in a Broadway style production in the spring, summer and fall of each school year. Our program is open to students ages 6-14 living in Escambia County, Florida. Our summer program welcomes students ages 6-9 for half days and ages 10-18 for a full day performing arts camp.
